Web Browser Parts

Title Bar: Shows title of web page.
Status Indicator: Moves when page is loading in.
Drop-down Menus:
Toolbar: Where the back, forward, home, print, stop, and reload buttons are located.
Location/Address Bar: Shows address of the web page.
Address is also know as URL or Universal Resource Locator
Content Area: Area where web page is displayed.
Progress Bar: Shows progress of page as it is loading in.
Status Message Field: Shows status of page (host contacted, transferring file, done)

Toolbar Buttons And Drop Down Menus
Back: Moves you to the page or pages you just visited.
Forward: Moves you to the page you left off.
Reload/Refresh: Reloads page if page didn't load in properly. Also gives you the latest version of the page.
Home: The very first web page you see when you start your browser. (can be changed)
Print: Prints the web page.
Print Preview:  This way you can see what you are printing and where each page is before you print.
Stop: Stops the web page from loading in.
Bookmarks/Favorites: Used to save addresses of the pages that you visit frequently.
Go: Gives you a list of pages you visited.
Edit, Find: Helps you find a specific word on a web page.
View, Source,: Lets you see the HTML code for the web page.
Search: Goes to several different search engines.
History: Lets you see which sites you have visited.
My Netscape: Lets you set up news, weather, stocks, etc.
Secure: Means that it is harder for people to see the information that you are sending online. (But people who know what they are doing can stil get this information).
